Family Suites at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
192 “family suite” units are available at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, in the Calypso and Jazz buildings.
These 520 square foot suites sleep up to 6 (plus one child under 3 in a crib) and have two full baths, a kitchenette with microwave, an apartment-sized refrigerator & freezer, sink and single-cup coffee maker (it uses individual pouches, not K-cups).
The main bedroom in the family suite has a queen bed and 55″ flat screen TV.
The second room has two pull-down queen beds (one folds down over the dining table and the other folds down over the couch), and a 55″ flat screen TV.
The units are all non-smoking and have complimentary wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) access.
There are fewer discounts offered on the family suites than on standard All-Star rooms. Discounts on the suites do pop up occasionally, however.
Are these suites a good deal? It depends. Unless you really want the kitchenette, you may find it’s a better value to book two standard rooms at one of the Value resorts instead. This will give you two bathrooms and four queen beds (for a maximum occupancy of 8 people). Two standard rooms cost slightly less than a family suite and can be additionally discounted with any available discount or special rate.
If you don’t mind paying a little bit more, consider Art of Animation, a “Value Plus” resort with family suites and a few extra amenities.
