Disneyland Paris Discounts

LAST UPDATE: 11/19/24

Disneyland Paris consists of Disneyland Park; Walt Disney Studios Park; several Disney-operated resort hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne and Hotel Santa Fe; a campground called the Davy Crockett Ranch; and Disney Village, a small shopping and dining district.

In April 2023, Don and Sarah went to Disneyland Paris to see how things were going since Disney took over running the park in 2017. Currently, there is a lot of construction and refurbishment going on at Disneyland Paris, as part of an overall updating and expansion of everything from their rides to their hotels. The World of Frozen, a new Frozen-themed land is being built in Walt Disney Studios Park; the Disneyland Hotel has been completely re-designed; and Disney Village is getting more interesting restaurants and shops. When World of Frozen opens, Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World.

You might be surprised to know that there are reasonably priced packages for Disneyland Paris. In general, the prices are nowhere near what you’d pay to visit Walt Disney World.

In addition, Disneyland Paris often has seasonal discounts on its hotel rooms, tickets and vacation packages. We list any current offers and Disneyland Paris discounts below.

Disneyland Paris Vacation Packages

Disneyland Paris won’t sell US residents a one-night package directly. (You can book a single night package at the Disneyland Paris hotels through Travelocity or other online travel sites, though. Enter “Disneyland Paris” in the box labeled “Find hotels near:”.)

Most people will want to buy at least a Classic Package, which consists of at least two nights’ accommodations, daily breakfast, and unlimited entrance to the theme parks, or one of the package specials that run from time to time.

The standard Classic Package includes:

*Please note: there is no Disney Park shuttle bus to/from Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. If you stay there, you must have your own transport. There is also no shuttle to or from the Disneyland Hotel, but there’s no need – it’s less than 2 minutes walk from both park entrances.

Booking Your Disneyland Paris Holiday

Booking from the UK

Disneyland Paris has a good online booking system for UK residents if you prefer to book your own holiday package.

Alternatively, UK residents can book by phone at 08448 008 898.

Booking from the US and Canada

Be aware that Disneyland Paris does not do very much marketing to US or Canadian visitors and therefore does not make it terribly easy for Americans to book, find a good deal or arrange for any “extras” or deviations from standard packages. However, there are quite a few options for booking:

  • Book online through Expedia.co.uk. Though they don’t offer packages, just hotels and tickets as separate items. (UK offers are almost always much better than US specials: we’ve had reports from people who saved over 50%.) Your purchase will be in UK pounds, but it’s easy to do currency conversion with Google or Bing: just type “XXX GBP to USD” into the address bar or a search box, where XXX is the amount in UK pounds. (To do the same for euros, use “XXX EUR to USD.”) Note that you may need to contact your credit card company prior to booking: for security purposes, some companies block international purchases unless you notify them in advance. You’ll also want to use whichever of your credit cards has the lowest foreign-currency and/or foreign-transaction fees. The best cards have no foreign fees, and the worst ones have both a foreign-currency fee and a foreign-transaction fee!
  • You can book regular priced hotels in US dollars through Travelocity (US site). Enter “Disneyland Paris” in the box labeled “Find hotels near:”.
  • Book online through the international version of the Disneyland Paris site. It’s worth trying out changing the “language” box at the top of the page to UK English, or Irish English, or French (if you speak French or are willing to use a translator program), to see if a better deal shows up. We have been told by readers that they’ll let you book any offer no matter where you live.
  • Call the resort in France. There are English-speaking operators to take your booking. From the US, the number is: (011) 33 1 60 30 60 53. Note that the reservations opening hours are limited and they are 6 hours later than EST and 9 hours later than PST. In the past, US residents could only book offers marketed to the US, but we have been told by readers that they’ve relaxed that restriction and will now book any offer they have in their system.

Disneyland Paris Package Specials

Please note: the specials below are for UK residents. The UK is the primary English-speaking market for Disneyland Paris and the UK sales office offers the best deals. Links in the package specials below all go to the UK site.

The package offers for US residents are limited and usually have bigger restrictions, such as longer length of stay, etc. US travel agents cannot book UK packages.

Finding Deals & Discounts for Disneyland Paris

When Disneyland Paris offers a deal we list them below, but sometimes new ones come out without notice.

Non-Disney Hotels

In addition to the official Disney-operated hotels, there are other hotels that are nearby but not owned by Disney.

Recommended Hotel

Marriott’s Village d’lle-de-France – While this is not an official “Partner Hotel,” MouseSavers.com readers Danilo & Ann V write, “…we would highly recommend it. It is a Marriott Vacation Club Resort, but they also rent the villas as you would a room at any Marriott hotel.” They report that the grounds and the units are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The resort also offers activities for children and adults, as well as some for the whole family.

MouseSavers.com reader Amy O reports that the villas have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, and a 1/2 bath, living area, dining room, and full kitchen downstairs. They also have washer/dryers in the villa and all of the villas have a patio that looks over a garden, the pool, a golf course, or a small lake. About a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel is a small town with a grocery store, bakeries, restaurants, etc.

The resort has a shuttle (for a small fee) that goes back and forth to Disneyland and the train station, but it stops running at 4:00 pm. Another option is the public bus, which runs from 6:00 am to after midnight and stops at the end of the hotel driveway. They are the same type of ticket you use on the Paris metro and are purchased at the train station or the Tabac shop in town. Taxis to/from Disneyland typically cost around €18 each way.

Official Partner Hotels

Disneyland Paris offers packages that include accommodations in its official Partner Hotels, but it is often cheaper to book them via the websites of the hotel owners. Obviously if you book directly with the hotel, you’ll have to buy tickets separately. These are all a bit too far to walk to the parks from, but most offer a FREE shuttle to the Disney parks and the train station. You may need to reserve the shuttle; check their web sites for details.

Disneyland Paris Ticket Discounts

Advance Purchase Ticket Discounts

If you live in the UK, you can pre-order tickets at a discount online. This offer is available only in advance through disneylandparis.co.uk (look for links to special offers). Usually the cheapest online special offers are for dated tickets, meaning the ticket will be valid only for a specific date you choose in advance.

Annual Passports

Be sure to see below for Annual Passport information and discounts!

Breakfast, Half Board & Full Board Meal Plans

The meal plans offer up to a 10% saving in a variety of restaurants in the whole Resort. They are pre-paid meal vouchers valid at a variety of restaurants throughout the Resort. They’re designed to help you budget your stay with savings of up to 10%, and give you the peace of mind that everything is pre-paid.

With the Breakfast meal plan you get one voucher for the breakfast buffet at your hotel per night stayed (for example, a 3-night stay would include 3 breakfast vouchers per person). For stays at Davy Crockett Ranch, the Breakfast meal plan gets you a breakfast basket. (Please note: breakfast is already included in the price of your stay if you book a suite or a room at the Castle Club, Empire State Club, Compass Club, Golden Forest Club or at the Algonquin’s Explorers Hotel.)

The Half Board meal plan includes one voucher for the breakfast buffet at your hotel and one voucher for lunch or dinner per night stayed. For example, a 3-night stay would include 3 breakfast vouchers per person and 3 lunch/dinner vouchers per person.

The Full Board meal plan includes one voucher for the breakfast buffet at your hotel and two meal vouchers per night stayed. For example, a 3-night stay would include 3 breakfast vouchers per person and 6 lunch/dinner vouchers per person.

The vouchers are not valid on December 24th and 31st, so be aware if you plan to travel over the Christmas/New Year season.

You can upgrade your meal plan to include gourmet restaurants and Disney Character Dining. If you buy a lower-level meal plan and then decide to eat in a higher-level restaurant, the restaurant will apply the value of your voucher toward the meal.

Disney Village Restaurant Offers

It’s worth taking a look at the Disney Village page on the Disneyland Paris site as there are frequently valuable offers for the Disney Village restaurants, such as 20% off discount cards, free parking when you spend a certain amount at various restaurants, and more.

Buying Groceries

MouseSavers.com reader Linda J reports in July 2013: “Food at any of the hotels in or around Disney is expensive and there are no stores around the park area to buy any food except the Esso gas station near Santa Fe hotel. A good tip – take the RER (metro train) one stop to Val de’ Europa. There is … a hypermart (like a super Walmart) there with a large grocery section. You can buy fruit, pastries, pre-made sandwiches and pre-made salads at very reasonable prices in addition to regular grocery items. I bought fruit and croissants for breakfast at about 2.5 Euros per day, versus the [non-Disney] hotel’s breakfast buffet at 11 Euros. There are also several reasonably priced restaurants outside the mall and across the street from the station. The train runs from 6:00 am – midnight daily. Families could save a bundle just on bottled water and snacks/chips.”

Parking Fees

Normally the daily parking fee at the theme parks is €30 for a regular car.

RER Train from Paris

You can take the RER train direct from Paris to the Disneyland Paris station. It’s a super easy way to visit the Disney Parks if you’re staying in Paris. You can buy your RER ticket at the station the day of your trip.

Alternatively, consider a Paris Visite card, which combines an RER pass, Paris Metro pass and tourist discounts. You can buy a Paris Visite card in advance. You’ll need the Zones 1-5 pass to be able to take the train to Disneyland from Paris.

Eurostar Train from London

Eurostar is a very comfortable high-speed train between the UK and France that goes through the “Chunnel” (Channel Tunnel). A direct Eurostar train between London and Disneyland Paris leaves London (departing from St. Pancras, Ashford and Ebbsfleet) in the late morning and returns from Disneyland Paris to London in the evening daily. However, this train does not run on Tuesdays and Saturdays except during UK school holidays. The trip takes less than 3 hours each way.

Other options are to take Eurostar from London to Disneyland Paris with a change in Lille, or London to Paris and transfer to the regional RER train.

Shuttle to/from Paris Airports

If you need reasonably-priced shuttle transportation between the either of the two major Paris airports (Charles de Gaulle / CDG or Orly / ORY) and Disneyland Paris, Magical Shuttle runs regular bus service that can transport you to or from the entrance to Disneyland Paris or to any of the official Disney hotels or partner hotels. We’ve taken this bus, and it works well and is significantly cheaper than a taxi for parties of 3 or fewer people. With 4 or more, a taxi will usually be cheaper.

Annual Passport Discounts

There are three types of Annual Passports at Disneyland Paris: Infinity, Magic Plus and Magic Flex. All three offer various discounts in addition to admission. Those discounts are good enough that they may justify buying one Annual Passport for someone in your party, even if this will be a one-time vacation at Disneyland Paris.

Another resource for information on Annual Passes is an unofficial site called DLP Guide.

Be sure to see below for information on additional savings when buying Annual Passports for multiple family members!

Family Discounts on Annual Passports

You can save 20% when you buy annual passports for a family of five or more. The passports must all be purchased from a ticket booth at the Disneyland Paris theme parks at the same time, for persons in the same family who are all living at the same address. You must present ID for all members to prove that you are the same family.

MouseSavers.com reader Amy O writes (in July 2007): “Disneyland Paris is currently running a promotion where kids under 7 are free. The Disney rep at the ticket counter at the park could not honor the free one-day pass for kids since we didn’t stay at a Disney hotel, but instead offered free annual passes for our 2 kids under 7 if we purchased adult annual passes at any level. We were originally going to buy one-day/one-park tickets for our family (46 euros/adult and 38 euros/child) and instead purchased 2 adult basic annual passes (89 euros each with some blackout dates) that are good at both Disneyland and the Paris Studios park for a year and received 2 kids passes free!” We are not sure if this is standard policy or if Amy just got lucky. In any case, it’s worth inquiring!

MouseSavers.com reader Marcus reports in May 2008, “We saw your site a few days ago before going to Disneyland Paris and saw your note regarding Amy O’s free child passes. We bought annual passes last year and were going to do the same this year. We told the rep. we wanted 3 passes (one for each of myself, my wife and our 3 year old son [who was free last year]). I mentioned there was an offer on whereby under 7s are free (referring to the hotel offer but not mentioning hotels as we weren’t in one of theirs) and she immediately said yes there was and that his pass was free and gave him the same pass as my wife which was a more expensive one – mine was just the cheapest pass as we can use hers for merchandise discounts and car parking etc., we didn’t need 2 of these. She did not, however, mention this until I did so it is possible this is a standard offer if you ask for it. So, thanks for this tip and it may be worth updating this on your site.”

UK National Health Service (NHS) Discounts

MouseSavers.com reader Simon C reports that anyone who works for the UK National Health Service (NHS) can use the site healthservicediscounts.com, which sometimes offers Disneyland Paris discounts.

US Military Discounts

Members of the US Military can get 50% off adult (age 12+) and child (age 3-11) 2-day/2-park dated tickets to Disneyland Paris. These special rate tickets must be purchased in advance. This offer is valid for one member of the US military and up to 5 other people. Tickets must be used on 2 consecutive days. You will need to show US Military ID along with your e-ticket to enter the parks.

We have heard several reports from readers that members of the US Military can get a discount of Disneyland Paris hotels when they call to book a stay. This discount is only available by phone and the amount of the discount can vary and may not be available for all stay dates. Thanks to Jeanne B for info.

Sightseeing in Paris

If you’re going to Disneyland Paris, we certainly hope you’re also going to the actual city of Paris. (Please don’t skip it — it’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world!)

Paris Pass

For your time in Paris, we highly recommend the Paris Pass. For a very reasonable price, it provides:

We recommend buying this pass even if you think the cost is about the same as buying separate tickets for the museums you plan to visit and the public transportation you plan to use, because it will save you a huge amount of time in line.

If you plan to visit other European capitals on your trip, the same company offers a London Pass and the Omnia Rome & Vatican Pass.

Trip Reports

The best way to get to Disney from the airport is the shuttle bus which is advertised on the Disneyland Paris website. It… drops you right at your hotel. The train is cheaper, but much more inconvenient and less direct.”
