Disneyland “Park Exclusive” Merchandise

There are certain items that are only offered at Disneyland, such as special theme park and resort apparel (including mouse ears) and CDs of the theme park and parade music.

Quite a few enterprising souls have set up companies that buy the items from Disneyland and resell this merchandise over the Internet (both through websites and eBay), usually at inflated prices. Sometimes, sadly, that’s the only way to get certain limited edition merchandise after it has sold out. Fortunately, it’s not always necessary to pay through the nose!

Some, but not all, “park exclusive” items from Disneyland that you forgot, later wish you had purchased, or just plain can’t get to the parks to buy can be found online, or in person in Anaheim:

• DisneyStore.com offers some items from Disneyland. You can buy mouse ears, autograph books and more online, direct from Disney.
• The Disney Outlet Stores at the outlet malls in Southern California sometimes stock a random assortment of “last season” Disneyland park merchandise.

Disney Cruise Line Exclusive Merchandise

There are certain items that are only offered in the shops onboard Disney Cruise Line ships, such as special cruise apparel, mugs, posters and so forth.

Quite a few enterprising souls have set up companies that buy the items while on a cruise and resell this merchandise over the Internet (both through websites and eBay), usually at inflated prices. Sometimes, sadly, that’s the only way to get certain limited edition merchandise after it has sold out. Fortunately, it’s not always necessary to pay through the nose!

Some, but not all, “ship exclusive” items from Disney Cruise Line that you forgot or later wish you had purchased can be found online, or in person in Orlando:

• DisneyStore.com offers some items from Disney Cruise Line. You can buy mouse ears, autograph books, lanyards and more, direct from Disney.
• The Disney’s Character Warehouse stores at the outlet malls in Orlando stock a random assortment of “last season” Disney Cruise Line merchandise.

Official Walt Disney World Outlets

You can get some excellent deals on Disney theme park merchandise at Disney’s Character Warehouse – International Drive and Disney’s Character Warehouse – Vineland stores near Walt Disney World. These Disney outlets are actually operated by Disney. Be sure to check prices, though — some merchandise is sold at full price.

Disney Store Outlets

Disney Store outlets sell some park merchandise as well.

• Disney Store outlets in the Tanger Outlet malls. Thanks to jlsh for info.
• Disney Store outlets in the Premium Outlet malls. Thanks to Sean Y R for info.
• Near Disneyland (California) there is a Disney Outlet store about 30 minutes away in Citadel Outlets in Commerce, CA and another about an hour drive in Ontario Mills, in Ontario, CA. 

Other Disney World Outlet Store Locations

There is a Disney’s Character Warehouse store in the Sawgrass Mills mall in Sunrise, FL. As far as we’re aware, all Character Warehouse stores are operated by Disney as liquidation outlets for Walt Disney World merchandise. They are official Disney Parks stores, staffed by Disney Parks Cast Members. As with other Character Warehouse locations, the stock is a mix of actual liquidations and markdowns from the parks and full-price merchandise.

Unofficial Walt Disney World Outlets

There are some outlet stores that sell Disney items, but are not actually operated by Disney. Generally little or none of the merchandise comes from the theme parks, because Disney sells excess park merchandise through its own outlets.

• A non-Disney-operated outlet near Walt Disney World is the Character Corner store.

Zazzle.com – Personalized Disney T-Shirts, Sweatshirts and Cards

Zazzle.com offers a huge variety of imprinted Disney products, including clothing, greeting cards and invitations, phone cases, mugs and more!

You can make your own personalized Disney t-shirts and sweatshirts at Zazzle, which offers only official, Disney-authorized images. There are tons of designs and styles available, which can be printed on every type of shirt you can imagine. They also have a wide range of sizes, including infant sizes! Zazzle’s Disney shirts are unique. You can’t get personalized shirts like this even at the Disney theme parks.
